HOW TO FUND YOUR STUDY ABROAD?
Hit up your rich uncle Bert. Start selling plasma. Have a yard sale, a bake sale, a fundraising banquet. Busk in the streets during the holiday season. Stop eating out. Downgrade your everything. Ask your roommate for a dollar...three thousand times.
Also, all available methods for funding traditional studies can be used for study abroad. That means federal grants, student loans, and scholarships can all be used toward study abroad. Visit WSU's Financial Aid office:(801-626-7569) ask for Janet Nelson. Only she can give you the details on your particular case.
You can pay with a credit card.

PAYMENTS
To reserve your spot in the class, you'll need to make a $250 nonrefundable deposit. If you intend to fund your trip through loans or grants (instead of paying the deposit in cash), obtain a letter from Janet Nelson at the Financial Aid office that officially states your situation and you'll be able to register with that instead. Any issues or questions? call Pam at Study Abroad (801-626-6600) and chat about your situation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
Because of the nature of the sites we're exploring, there is a physical requirement for this course. In order to register, you must be able to:
A. Walk 3 miles in an hour (this is a brisk pace); AND
B. Walk 12 miles in a day
Not every day of the trip will be especially demanding, but there will be times when trekking at a fair pace will be required. Walking surfaces of the ruined cities will be uneven and some trails to the sites will be rigorous.
